One of Sharon’s favorite images this photograph called pink flowers was recorded on a visit to the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx NY. Like birds, flowers are also our relations and are essential for all life and are a constant source of joy and beauty uplifting our spirits and nourishing our minds and bodies. I do not go in search of flower photos however they never fail to speak to me and I am always willing to respond to their call. From time to time I will be posting more images of our flower nation.
These beautiful Virgina Bluebells flowered this Spring at the edge of the woods at our home in West Shokan NY having recently moved to this area we are still in the process of getting to know our neighbors which includes humans, plants, birds, animals, insects, reptiles, fish, trees, rocks and the Earth and Water. Every day in all seasons more and more of the diversity and interrelationship of life’s many manifestations are revealed to us. Patience and awareness have provided many gifts of beauty.
